Our modern spacious 2nd floor two bedroom apartment is located in a residential building in the picturesque lakeside village of St Gilgen, known as the Mozart Village. The apartment is situated off the famous Mozartplatz, and its highly decorated buildings including the world famous Rathaus.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no elevator but the stairs are easily managed by all our clients, both young and old.
The apartment is perfect for couples, 2/3 persons or for families with up to 2 children. The apartment has parquet floors throughout, a private full length balcony with stunning uninterrupted views of the Steinklüft, Fürberg and Schafberg Mountains. The lounge and both bedrooms also have the advantage of the wonderful mountain views. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi throughout the apartment. There is no elevator but the stairs are easily managed by all our guests, both young and old. Free parking is available nearby (100m), with the use our parking permit.
Many of the village amenities are only a few minutes’ walk away. Immediately opposite the apartment is an artisan bakery which serves breakfasts and snacks, and the local ski-hire shop. Below the apartment is a bicycle hire shop. Nearby there are restaurants, supermarkets, tourist office, banks, museums, library and post office. A five minute walk away is Lake Wolfgang (Wolfgangsee) and ferry landing, where you will find leisure opportunities and water sports facilities. St Gilgen is central for cycling, jogging, walking, hiking, water-sports, skiing, angling, musical, and cultural and sports events which take place throughout the year. Also a short walk from the apartment you will find the cable car to the Zwölferhorn.
On the outskirts of the village is the bus station which is only a few minutes from the apartment. With bus links for guests without a car, or those wishing to take it easy and enjoy the wonderful scenery on a journey to, Mondsee, Bad Ischl, the City of Salzburg and all stops between. Both Salzburg and Bad Ischl have more transport links for further exploration; you will find numerous beautiful excursion possibilities.
The Salzkammergut area caters for the young and old alike, serving many interests with an abundance of sightseeing attractions.
As we consider the health and possible allergies of our guests to be important, we do not allow smoking or pets within the apartment.
